Before this role, Steven’s main profession was in accountancy and finance.
In this episode we discuss Steven’s professional journey, the mental health difficulties he experienced whilst in the finance world, breaking into sports journalism and the persistence he had in achieving his goals.
We also discuss the problems Steven’s had with alcohol at various points in his life, the pressure he felt in being an academically gifted child at school, suicidality and the positive tools he’s learned in therapy.
