A Woman

By Anne-Marie Silbiger

A woman and her whirligig lost at sea.
Spinning in the complexity of love.
Floating with the flotsam.
Daring love to a duel.
The sea her stadium.
Her battleground a moving museum.
She is hoarding waves for use later.
The sea and sky spectators.
Love, the enemy, awaits.
